Southern Barter Exchange

When Selling

Making a Southern Barter Exchange (SBX) sale is no different from a cash or credit card sale, except for the form of payment. Every SBX transaction must have an authorization number that means you get paid quickly without a wait of several days or risk of a bad payment.

SBX brokers work closely with our members to promote their goods and services within the SBX network. This is done by utilizing a variety of tools:

  • Personal telephone calls to your prospects
  • Daily E-Mail Broadcasting
  • Website
  • Member Directory

Our brokers get to know each member by working closely with him to understand the business and what attracts customers to it. They constantly assess member needs and monitor the supply and demand of products and services to create multiple opportunities for sales. SBX helps build your business by bringing you customers that you don’t currently have.

A prospective customer is much more likely to buy from an SBX member than spending cash with a competitor. By accepting SBX trade dollars you have an advantage over your competition. Once it is time for the sale to be made, you simply fill out a sales slip and call the transaction in to SBX for an authorization number. The trade dollars will then be transferred into your account for you to use with any other member.
